Welcome Back!!

Again, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. I pray this letter finds you and your family well, safe, and in good spirits. As we enter this school year, our priority at Gatzert is to inspire, educate, and support your child(ren) in a safe and welcoming environment that focuses on establishing and building relationships with students and families.

Our unwavering partnership ensures we continue overcoming challenges and exploring every opportunity to increase student achievement and support student’s social and emotional well-being.

We are growing as a school and are pleased to welcome several new staff to the Gatzert school community. The added staff will support Kindergarten, Second grade, English Language support, office-Secretary, and Special Education. The new staff will join the critical work, ensuring students learn at their highest level with targeted support in a culturally attentive environment.

Gatzert Families, I continue to be amazed by the appreciation and support we receive from you. I look forward to working together to provide an educational experience to students that is second to none.

Please join our first school event – the Back to School BBQ on Thursday, August 31st. This is a time to meet staff, discover which class your child will be in, and reconnect with our wonderful Gatzert community. Dinner and school supplies will be available to those who join. Children must be supervised by an adult, this is not a drop-off event.
